Cyclehoop’s market-leading Bikehangar provides six accessible, secure, weather-resistant and insurable cycle parking spaces within half the space of a car parking bay. The latest model, the Bikehangar 4.0, is accredited Sold Secure Powered Cycle and Pedal Cycle Diamond and features our innovative lock mechanism, providing resistance against angle grinder attack.
Further features of the new model include; improved usability and accessibility, fail-secure lock interface, solid side panels provided as a standard, optional digital access with basic reporting on use, and an optional master key system.
Sold Secure is the premier British testing and certification body for all security products. Diamond accreditation is awarded to products that provide the highest level of security. The Bikehangar family are the only cycle hangars on the market to achieve this standard.
Long established as the market-leading solution for secure on-street residential cycle parking, the Bikehangar is now available for short term public use at the destination end of the cycle journey.
Combining an innovative locking mechanism, Bluetooth connectivity and a bespoke Cyclehoop smartphone app, users can book spaces, manage bookings and access a fleet of Bikehangars on the Cyclehoop Trips network – all without a physical key.
With customisable pricing options for short term bookings and subscriptions, the app-enabled Bikehangar is perfect for any scenario with a high turnover of users, including commercial centres, university campuses, workplaces, leisure facilities and transport hubs.
The principles of Eurocodes have been followed in the design of the Bikehangar and it has been tested to meet the environmental conditions as outlined in BS EN 1991-1-3:2003 Eurocode 1 – Snow Loads and BS EN 1991-1-4:2005 Eurocode 1 – Wind Actions for typical Bikehangar installation locations within the UK
The Bikehangar design illustrates important UK and European design standards including the TfL London Cycle Parking Design Standards and it is registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

The Bikehangar is supplied with RAL6009 green powder-coated roof sheets, internal racking and key access as standard. Nine keys are supplied. If you would like any customisations, including custom coloured roof sheets, no internal racking or electronic access. Please contact us.
The Bikehangar can be supplied flatpack or fully assembled. The flat pack option comes with detailed assembly instructions. We recommend the Bikehangar is assembled by at least two people with mechanical experience. A range of hand tools and an SDS drill with 12mm masonry drill bit are required, an impact driver is recommended. The advantage of buying flatpack is that the Bikehangar can moved in component pieces by hand and can be built in situ. This is ideal for sites which a vehicle cannot access eg an enclosed courtyard, or a building frontage above street level. The flatpack option is also more easily stored for later assembly. The flatpack option is delivered on oversized pallets equivalent to 6 pallet spaces.
The fully assembled option is also delivered on an oversized pallet equivalent to six pallet spaces. It is suitable for sites that the delivery vehicle can access directly and/or lifting equipment is available, eg a forklift or HIAB crane. The unit must be secured to the ground with the ground anchors provided. An SDS drill with 12mm masonry drill bit are required for this task.
Both the flatpack and fully assembled options are delivered on oversized pallets. For standard pallet deliveries, a forklift or a loading dock and pallet truck are required to unload the Bikehangar from the vehicle at the delivery address.
If you do not have access to lifting equipment at the installation address, we offer delivery with a Moffett lift; a mobile forklift mounted to a 26-tonne truck. There must be clear access from the delivery address to the installation site for the Moffett lift to negotiate. Moffett delivery is only available for mainland UK addresses.
Bikehangars are packed for shipping for every order, allow 5 – 10 working days from the date of order until dispatch.
