Cyclehoop’s new STePS eBullitt cargo bike has arrived…

Did you know that Cyclehoop’s product maintenance within London is carried out on a fleet of cargo bikes? This is part of our ethos to operate in an environmentally sustainable way and to promote the benefits of cycling

This week, our fleet just got even better with the addition of our latest cargo bike, the STePS eBullitt by Danish company Larry vs Harry.  This bike includes a 250W, 36-volt electric drive unit that helps us reach speeds of 15.5mph (25km/h), meaning that we can reach more locations across the city faster and more efficiently.

With over 9,850 cycle parking spaces installed in London, our maintenance team clock up an average of 5,958 kilometres with 33,600 feet of climbing per year, so an extra helping hand is really appreciated.

Making these journeys by bike instead of driving saves us on average 2.29 tonnes of CO2. That energy is the equivalent of making 10,905 cups of tea! This fits in with the Mayor’s Clean Air Action plan which has walking and cycling as part of their strategy and shows our commitment to reduce the capital’s CO2 emissions by 60% (against 1990 levels) by 2025.
