The recently installed cycle parking designed especially for Victoria Station back in July this year is now fully equipped with our public bike pump and repair stand, not only allowing hundreds of cyclists to securely store their bikes as part of their daily commute, also providing a convenient repair hub for commuters on the move.
Commissioned by Network Rail, these improvements to the station will ensure a more cycle friendly environment as well as reducing congestion in and around the station itself. The idea of adding pumps and repair stands at major stations prevents abandoned bicycles and ensure cyclists can get to their destination swiftly in the event of any fault with their bicycles.
We designed the custom made cycle parking facilities for Victoria to include fencing. This securely encloses the two tier cycle racks helping to deter thieves further still. They are designed in such a way so that cyclists cannot lock their bikes to the handrail. The racks and repair hubs can be found to the front and the rear of the station by the car park and taxi rank.
