Trips destination cycle parking is Best Innovation in 2025-26 Active Travel Directory

We’re thrilled to be featured in the recently launched Active Travel Directory & Yearbook 2025–26, unveiled at Active City York. Our destination cycle parking solution, Trips, was highlighted as Best Innovation, recognised for pushing boundaries with on-demand BlueTooth access cycle parking.

Trips provides on-demand access to secure cycle parking across cities, campuses, and workplaces. This recognises the services’ growing impact—not just on infrastructure visibility, but on enabling modal shift through data-driven planning, equitable access, and behavioural insight.

Key takeaways from this edition:

  • Kate Ball of Wheels for Wellbeing emphasised the need for inclusive design, citing disabled cyclists’ right to infrastructure that recognises diverse needs—something Trips supports through adaptability and location-based responsiveness.
  • Mariam Draaijer of JoyRiders Britain highlighted how behaviour change relies on capability, opportunity, and motivation—a framework that Trips reinforces by showing people where they can confidently park when they ride.
  • The Pop-Up Cycle Parking case study, shared by York Cycle Campaign, illustrated the importance of flexible, event-ready solutions. Trips powers visibility and usage data for temporary sites, proving how digital tools can support real-world interventions.

Whether tracking use on campus or enabling safer routes through cities, Trips puts the power of infrastructure in the hands of the people who use it.
