Pump it up at Euston Station

Improving cycle infrastructure and accessibility within train stations yet again, Network Rail have added to their collection two new Public Bike Pumps and two repair stands which were installed this week at Euston station.

This, along with a recently installed two-tier cycle rack emphasizes the fact that they are committed to providing cyclists with an efficient, seamless transition between biking and taking the train.

Over 70,000 people use Euston Station every year, with a high proportion of these people including cycling within their commute, it is fantastic to see the efforts that are in being put in place to make train stations more cycle friendly and accessible.

Zohar Raja, Euston Station Interface Manager says that the pumps are working well and the feedback from users is “very good.”

Our Public Bike Pumps and Repair stands are popping up in various locations within London. They are modern pieces of street furniture which can be installed anywhere to provide cyclists with a free facility to pump deflated tyres and fix any bike issues conveniently on the road.

Recently, the City of London introduced a Public Bike Pump to Canary Wharf to cater for its cycling community.Canary Wharf management LTD say that the pumps have been “very well received.”
