The Toast Rack connects a set of Sheffield stands into a single free standing bike rack. Available in units of three, four and five stands, they can be combined to create a rack of any size to fit the available space or cycle storage requirement. They are a cost effective option for outdoor spaces, indoor cycle hubs, shelters and compounds.

Why choose toast racks over individual Sheffield stands?

The major advantage of Toast Racks is shared ground fixings. Each Sheffield stand is fixed to the rails, which are then fixed to the ground, so multiple stands share the same ground fixings. This allows a high number of cycle parking spaces to be deployed very quickly with minimal disturbance to the groundwork. They can also be expanded, reduced or relocated easily as usage changes.

The free standing nature of Toast racks makes them ideally suited to temporary usage such as events. They can be stored and transported entirely flat pack, or stacked together fully assembled with four units fitting in the space of one.

In use

Constructed from durable EN ISO 1461 hot dip galvanised steel, the Sheffield Stand components are shaped to allow bicycles to be locked at three points; the frame and both wheels. The stands are spaced along the rail in 750mm increments to allow space for bikes to be locked on either side of each stand.

This product also contributes towards the BREEAM building certification scheme in category 04 transport, helping your project meet planning authority requirements and adding value for buyers and tenants.
