An ideal resource for supporting cyclists and encouraging cycling uptake, the Public Bike Repair Stand makes common bicycle maintenance tasks easily accessible to all. It is designed for installation both indoors and outdoors; great for workplace bike storage areas, transport hubs, university campuses and public facilities. The stand is constructed from steel in a unique I-beam configuration to prevent bikes being locked to it. Mounting arms with protective sleeves support the bike by the seatpost or top-tube, allowing the wheels and pedals to turn; great for adjusting the gears, finding punctures or fixing problems with the chain.
A set of high specification tools are attached to the stand with stainless steel aircraft cable and fixed with a security nut. Replacement tools are available. Ground fixings with security nuts are supplied, the stand must be installed on a level, robust masonry surface with a depth of 100mm or more.
This product can be purchased through our website for supply only. It is supplied with a grey powder coat finish as standard (RAL 7047 – Telegrey 4).
