Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the Secured by Design team at our headquarters to celebrate this proud achievement. CEO of Secured by Design, Guy Ferguson presented our MD, Anthony Lau with the official certification.
What is Secured by Design?
Secured by Design (SBD) is the title for a group of National Police projects. It is the only way for products to achieve police accreditation in the UK. They work with the industry and test houses to create high-level security standards, responding to trends in crime, and have given input on a number of key standards. The principles of the scheme have been proven to reduce the risk of crime and the fear of crime.

Our original product, the Cyclehoop HD has been certified to Sold Secure gold – the highest rating in security – making Cyclehoop the only SBD member to attain this status. This is a monumental achievement for Cyclehoop and feels a long way from our small beginnings in a garage in 2008.
