At Cyclehoop, our customer relationships are a top priority. We are looking for a dedicated and personable Sales Executive to grow a portfolio of private sector accounts in construction, education and other private sector companies, and serve as our main point of contact.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of selling cycle parking products and a drive to provide exceptional customer service. A love of cycling and sustainability will help propel you to develop a deep understanding of our products and client needs, so that we may continue to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships that move our business forward!
The role is best suited to someone with a business development mindset, who wants to identify new clients within the sectors we serve.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of private sector accounts, acting as the primary point of contact in all matters relating to client concerns and needs
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with clients, to build and strengthen those relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
- Work with internal teams to ensure KPIs are met
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Take enquiries and requests from clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise
- Prepare quotations with competitive profit margins and process sales orders in a timely manner
- Stay on top of accounts through regular contact, ensuring they receive a high standard of service, and their needs are met
- Meet new and existing clients on-site to discuss new projects and future opportunities.
- Attend cycling and travel specific events
- Liaise with the client and internal teams, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our products and services according to the client’s needs and objectives
- Contact clients about any outstanding debts
- Project management and planning
- Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
- Contribute information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analysing client reactions
- Generate and collate progress reports to give to clients and internal stakeholders
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
- Train and guide new Sales team members
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years in a cycle parking sales role
- A drive to develop new business
- Experience dealing with clients in the private sector
- Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organisational skills and good attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM system usage
- An eye for continuous improvement

Working Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break (37.5 hours per week).
Annual Leave: 25 days per year + bank holidays.
Location: Lower Sydenham, with a hybrid working pattern – 2 days from home, 3 days in the office.
Salary: £45,000 OTE
