Cyclehoop are delighted to announce that our latest product, the Bike Port has taken up temporary residence at the NLA, Building Centre in central London for the month of August. This eye-catching design is visible at a distance, sending out a clear message – Space for Cycling.
Cyclehoop MD Anthony Lau popped over to the NLA to meet their Chairman Peter Murray, and introduce our new design.

Sturdy and easy to assemble, the Bike Port is a great solution for both permanent and temporary cycling. It can also be used by local councils to test the demand for cycle parking in different areas.
“With the Mayor of London focusing on healthier streets, it’s essential there are plenty of places to park your bike. What is great about this giant is that it provides a really strong message about the positive effects and efficiency of cycling in the city.”
The installation of our Bike Port coincided with a fantastic event, the Active Travel Summit hosted by the NLA. This event saw London’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner Will Norman joined by Transport for London, London Cycling Campaign, Cross River Partnership and a panel of architects, engineers and consultants to assess the Mayor’s 25-year transport strategy and the plans for delivering Healthy Streets in the capital.
It was a pleasure to have our new design featured at a healthy streets focused event and provide delegates with the opportunity to securely park their bikes at the Bike Port, while enjoying the event.
