Last week Cyclehoop joined 200 other delegates from the cycling world at the sixth Hackney Cycling Conference. The cycling conference, co-hosted by Hackney Council and Steer Davies Gleave was held at Hackney Town Hall and was chaired by Dr Tom Cohen of UCL Transport Institute. Cycling as a catalyst for healthy neighbourhoods was the topic on the agenda for the day, generating a lively debate amongst the attendees.
Cyclehoop supported the event by providing free cycle parking for everyone who attended, and we were joined by Cycle Confident who treated the delegates to a VIP Bike Manicure.
This unique event was a great opportunity to showcase our latest product, the Bike Port, two of which were proudly placed at the entrance to the conference. Delegates had the opportunity to use this inventive piece of design that provides cycle parking for up to eight bikes. This eye-catching product is visible at a distance, sending out a clear message about the importance of safe storage space for bicycles. The sturdy and easy to assemble design makes the Bike Port an ideal solution for both permanent and temporary cycle parking.
We were delighted to take a few snaps of some very important people (including MP Diane Abbott) alongside our newest design! Find out more on our Bike Port here.
